Melted Breath

I wander around to search for you

to catch your breath as ever before

mix in your symphony like a melody.

The melody so saccharine;

you couldn't resist

the time of love

you couldn't persist.

I miss your smell, the taste of your breath,

the silky hair with a boundless touch of me

Let us connect on a note of difference again

Let us make the difference "one"

Let us wander in a form of intimacy

that a touch lasts in form of none.

Let us breathe...
Breathe alone.

Urdu Musings

Roothi hai woh, hum manane chale hain
zindagi ke dorahey mitaane chale hain
kehte the who ki waqt sab badal dega
puch aaj humse khuda
Kis tarah uske gamo ko apnane chale hain... ____________________________________________________________________

Woh jeena hi kya jo mar mar ke ho, (2)
Woh maut hi kya jisme pyar ka elm nahi...

Pyar se to kehte hain kashtiyaan mil sakti hain,
shiddat se karo to khuda bhi gawah hoga...

Evermore. .

I have been in love more than once,
but everytime it happened it was unreal.
Until a moment struck me so hard that you
were a part of my presence. It had made me
come alive out of a stiff shell. You taught me how
to love, how to be a part of someone you love,
how to be poetic in the junction of a touch.
Sometime then I felt that today is perhaps the
time I have lived most part of my life in a pristine
aspect. Seeing you was a matter of time, loving you
was just more than what love together really is.
you are my fortune; the devotion. And oh have I
mentioned the men who got the real feelings unreal?
Maybe the only thought I would want to be a part of
is you. Maybe that is the only notion which should be
mortal. You are surreal. I knew what flying in the sky
felt like. It was what the dream was about. Love, love, love,
which became the core of my heart and I only yearned
for more. I had imagined such love and fervency only
in the flicks, where the man was the only soul a woman carried.
But when I bid you farewell today, a volcano erupted
in some part of the world in a disguise claiming to be
dead without your contiguity.

Choti Si Zindagi

Kya lekar aaye the
kya lekar jaaoge,
zindagi me sabse kaise nibhaaoge
hona to wahi hai jo upar wale ne likha hai
Pyar ka tohfa
nafrat se kaise de paaoge.

Waqt hai bacha hua
baech do tareeke se
izzat hai jo kamai hui,
lapaet lo seene se.

Puchega koi nahi
yaad ye rakhna hai,
fir bhi dil me pyar ka
aaina khuredna hai.

Do pal jee liye hai toh
mar jana hai chaen se,
duniya me to yahi chalta hai
Ab kafan kya dega marti mujhpe
na ro thoda, bas nafrat faenk de.

Words untrue

I pray,

Surrender your dreams to me
since the crippled posses the power
and dead bodies don't.

Surrender your wishes to me
since the blind could conform them
and the sighted couldn't/

Surrender your words to me
since the writer could form
them better in a story.

Surrender your soul to me
since I would feel the aura of it
and you being usual couldn't.

Shake me to expose the art,
for I am within the elements you do not see
but breathe. Breathe the feel of it.

Top 5 Rumi Favorites

1.)  “I want to see you.

Know your voice.

Recognize you when you
first come 'round the corner.

Sense your scent when I come
into a room you've just left.

Know the lift of your heel,
the glide of your foot.

Become familiar with the way
you purse your lips
then let them part,
just the slightest bit,
when I lean in to your space
and kiss you.

I want to know the joy
of how you whisper
- Rumi

2.)  “In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art.”

3.)   “Be melting snow.
Wash yourself of yourself.”

4.)   “Study me as much as you like, you will not know me, for I differ in a hundred ways from what you see me to be. Put yourself behind my eyes and see me as I see myself, for I have chosen to dwell in a place you cannot see.”

5.)   “These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.”

The crimson water
green eyes,
begging for mercy
in a land of unknown companions

she was shaken from head to toe
as if searching for breath
in the state of Parkinson's disease
Having to arrange the bucks for medicines

She had now woken up from her dream
realizing it wasn't the naked truth of the month.

"It was a mere dream." - She sighed, with Holi colors on her face (wiping the sweat off for eerie future)

Aakhri Pal

Maa tu baethi thi sehlab si
Man ke andar chupi ardaas si
Dekh ke tujhe, dil kare pyar karu
Roothu tujhse hi, tujhse hi laad karu.

Na jaa ma, akela kar ke mujhe
Meri daastan adhuri hai tere bina
Koi nahi tere jaisa deewana
Khoraak ka nahi, Sang hai tere mujhe jeena

Haathon ko tere, tarse mere haath
Rakh de un haathon pe apne tu haath
Maar mujhe, kos mujhe
Chod na de, itni asaani se saath

Jeeke bhi main zinda nahi rahungi
Waada kar mujhse, pyar utna hi rahega
Jane se tere, ummedein guzar jayengi
Bin tere mera khyal kaun rakhega

Tujhe sulaao, tujhe sehlaau
Sochti hu roz karke dikhau
Ki tu man badal le jaane ka ab
Bina tere kaise main jee paau

Yaad aayenge wo keemti pal
Jo guzaare itne saal sath rehke
Lori sunana tera, roti khilana tera
Gungunana dhuno ko, aise jaise
bageeche me phool meke

Bas bhi karo, kitna rulaaogi
Jaane se pehle kaise samjhaogi
Ki zindagi ka to yahi daur hai
Aj tha koi, kal koi aur hai.

(This poem has been written for a reason. Children who do not respect their mother, suffer from ever loneliness. Not a rumor, its a fact. Here the daughter is narrating this to her mom. Mom has cancer while the traumatized daughter is making an effort to steal her mom away from cancer. Feeble mother and daughter, tear up while lying down. When the blood stopped flowing in mom's body and the time paused.

Moral - Respect your parents. You won't get anybody like them.)

Last Day of Life

She had teared until her last breath,
trembled and tormented soul of hers was tearing apart,
with no sign of grief.

She laid her head on her mom's corpse
humming the lullabies that were recalled through past
With closed eyes,
gone in the moment of hell
alive yet dead

The cancer had taken her mom aloof
to a different element of outer space.

While she was traumatized in the game of coma.

Mohabbat BeReham

Dil e kariim pyar ka alfaaz,
Alag sa tera mijaz
Roshan hai waqt ke abad se hum
Meelo dur ko beparwah karke hua tera deedar.

Mukhtasar tha wo aalam,
Jab bewafayi rang laayi thi
Taaruf dard ka tab hua tha humein
Jab tere nikah me shenayi bajayi thi.

Bhatka tha main us zamane ke taur me,
Asaan nahi tab bhi ruswaayi thi

Seekha hai itna thokar dar dar ke baad,
Parkhi hue ishq ka yahi hota hai sabab.

Bleed Black.

The bold she was
higher was the toll of dilemmas
A roll to take over,
the death of her fiance
on the day of their honeymoon in Belgium
when he was shot dead in the room
of red roses and lavender fragrance
around the room

And she was numb
with her neck tilted to the right
frozen in the tune of dolefulness
Scratching herself with the blood in
Representing the color to mourn
with evil support of it.

She was bleeding anger from her eyes
fretting and lamenting at the time of love
waiting for his anguished soul to wake up
to her voice and react over it.

That sight was skittish
for a lifetime was to not enough
to see the couple depart on such note

While the girl being molested in the
darkness of the time
by butchers of his soul.
